Contoh : - He said that he is sick - Michael said that he must visit his aunt Noun Clause digunakan sebagai object atau subject Contoh : - The boy told me where I could find him - What he said just now schoked us very much Noun Clause digunakan sebagai pelengkap. Contoh : - It is not easy as you think it is - It seems that he has lost his money - The fact is he does not know what to do. Noun Clause digunakan sebagai kata yang menerangkan kata benda. Contoh : - The statement that he is seriously ill is untrue - Her excuse that she is not free is not acceptable - It is certain that they will arrive today Noun Clause dapat digunakan sesudah kata sifat. Contoh : - I am sure that he will win the first prize - We are certain that the girls will come - She is afraid that her husband might die. Catatan : Yang perlu diperhatikan dalam susunan Noun Clause adalah bahwa Noun Clause selalu dalam bentuk kalimat berita. Contoh : - What is the title of that book ? (He wants to know … ) ( He want to know what the title of that book is. - Whom do you admire most ? (I don’t know. … ) ( I don’t know you admire most Why does he smokes so much ? (Do you know … ?) ( Do you know why he smokes so much ?
